| my travels - 2005.12.28 thru 12.30, Philadelphia, PA Returning once again to the city to catch two shows by the Disco Biscuits at the Tower Theatre, I grabbed a few pictures from our suite at the Embassy right down from City Hall. I also got some media from a trip to Gino's Famous Cheesesteaks and Monk's tavern.
We arrived in Philadelphia on the evening of December 28th, with about two hours to collect outselves from the ride down from Harrisburg. On the way, we made stops in Reading and King of Prussia as we rounded up additional crew members, close friends who have basically become family to me at this point.
Arriving in Philadelphia, we dialed in our good friend Candy for further directions. Candy had previously made arrangements for us to spend our evenings there at the Embassy Suites, where we also stayed previously the year before. The Embassy has always been very accommodating to all of us rowdy Disco Biscuits fans and they've got a really nice room layout and other deals that make it well worthwhile.

The Complimentary Breakfast they serve here is one of the most fulfilling I've ever had, complete with fresh fruit, made to order omletes and fresh baked goods. Having to use a key to get ice was somewhat annoying, but we needed the key to get back into the room anyway so I suppose it was tolerable..

We spent a lot of time out on this balcony, it quickly became the preferred lounge for smokers until the early morning hours when things got really cold.

Well here we have Ross, Leroy, Colleen, and Nya and we're front and center inside our suite.
The Disco Biscuits put on a heck of a show that evening, but I didn't take my camera in because I never know if I am going to get harassed for doing so.
The next day, Leroy, Lee and I decided to hit the streets for Gino's and one of their famous cheesesteaks. I took a few shots on the way there.

Looks like these two are up to no good. I walked with them to create a distraction away from myself. Surely my celebrity status would go unnoticed with these two henchmen walking in front of me.
